He can get away with it cause there's not enough police. They can only allocate so much time investigating a case. Then they have to move on. The best thing that they can do is make the public aware that there is a possible serial killer out there. And people need to be on their guard. Same thing for when the FBI went after a lot of protesters at the Cap on 1/6. Fortunately those who are going to commit crimes will be dumb enough not to leave their cell phones at home. If they had then that could have been an alibi for them. I don't think it has to be on to be traced. |

in the larger cities, you're making good points. If they're driving a more modern car, or using a cell phone......they can be tracked. And if they use public transport, you're being recorded, as well.
There's cameras everywhere. People have signed up for their own personal tracking devices.
Throw in extended family DNA net casting? You'd really have to be a magician of sorts to get away with several of these crimes today.
Though, I will add my opinion that the Jan6th round up of people is another telling sign of how choreographed the entire thing was. Didn't take them long to locate all those people, did it? Almost as if they had it before anything even happened?

How do you know he's communicating with a phone. Do you freely give out your phone number?
He probably stalk/hunted and kill them the old fashion way. The way serial killers use to do it before smart phones. Not everybody is tethered to one of those damn things.
