Here we go! Last time these two teams played in a prelim 4 years ago it was an all time classic and an all time upset with the Gints getting home by 4 points. Both teams are much better going into this one then the 2019 encounter. 4th consecutive week on the road for the Giants. Only the second game in a month for Collingwood. As a fan, I'm nervous. This Pies team is good enough to win a Grand Final, but the Gints have won 11 put of 13 and are serious competition.
I'll say the Pies but would not be surprised if it goes the other way.

This has upset written all over it, and every pies fan would be nervous. I still think the pies win though. GWS are nearing the end of their tank. Collingwood should be fresh and primed.

Well, we got there. 17 behind in the 3rd quarter followed by a 5 goals to 1 blitz. Very even last quarter. Old AFL cliche is that tall players don't get any shorter late in games and it was Big Mason who kicked what proved to be the winning goal. The margin was 1 point for the last 7 minutes with almost all the play between the 50m arcs.

Tough, hard and grinding but withstood the onslaught.

All class from Nick Daicos at the end making a bee-line for GWS captain Toby Greene, helping him up and telling him to hold his head high while every other Collingwood player was celebrating.
