You wait for a book on goth and 3 come along.
Can't see it selling well with the large recent tomes by John Robb and Cathi Unsworth both of which are sitting in my pile of music books hoping I will one day get to them. They both had great reviews, I think this will suffer hugely by being 3rd out the gate.
Likely will find a home in die hard Cure homes only.

Listened to The Damned's first album the other night for the first time in yonks, a real classic debut. Brian James guitar playing and songwriting were astonishing on that record. |

... I met Rat Scabies, he was the nicest (and one of the funniest) musician I ever met. My friend Vicky, back from many years ago from when I lived in the north Midlands - she was a bit older than me and a punk survivor - had 'Eloise' on bright blue vinyl, she was a Damned collector, a total fanatic, with a lifelong crush on Dave Vanian.
