Yeah this is a very bad look by the school - shaming children that are poor and making them feel excluded is just not okay. Whoever thought up this idea is seriously lacking in judgment.

There is too much childhood obesity in "the hood."
And ice cream is not a staple item - it is a luxury. it's not like they are denying milk to the children, which i am sure their parents can afford with their SNAP benefits....

I am surprised at the people here who think it is somehow cruel to prepare children for the real world. I think they need a wake up cold shower themselves.
