why? He wasn't an original member to begin with and he's been in the movies for nearly over 20 years. A break from him is a good thing. Besides giving how much of a fan favorite he is they'll probably give him his own movie again anyway. Not sure why when bringing the XMen into the MCU would be when they want to start experimenting with not having Wolverine in the team. The MCU has had teams led by Alpha males like Tony Stark and Steve Rogers before but now is the time to not continue that tradition? Fans wanted the XMen to join the MCU specifically to watch Wolverine in and amongst the Avengers, sure the other non Wolverine members are nice but Wolverine is Wolverine. Wolverine got enough exposure with the X-Men. If we're going to get a reboot with the X-Men I'd rather we get one with a new lineup. We've gotten Wolverine as a member of the X-Men in the movies for over a decade. We need a break from him. The X-Men comics is filled with characters that either haven't gotten a live action adaption yet or a decent adaption. Hell if they really need to reuse someone I rather we get another shot with Gambit at this point. Wolverine is better off on his own.

Yes and he's better off as part of the XMen too. Not sure what is with the determination to get rid of Wolverine all of a sudden because he's more interesting and if that's the case then you give the other characters more depth not get rid of the main attraction. Sounds stupid.

Sounds stupid. I agree that they need to give the other characters more depth. My problem with the Fox X-Men films is that they were ‘Wolverine and the X-Men’. Wolverine was already the most popular X-Man before they made those films but just because a character is the most popular, that doesn’t mean that you give him the most screen time. Sometimes less is more. I think a true ensemble film is preferable. Wolverine will still shine if handled correctly.

As long as they dont go woke and race mix all the characters and change their backgrounds. I'm sensing they will make Cyclops black, because they dont want another squeaky clean white boy as the leader of a group like Captain America.

As long as t hey dont go woke and race mix all the characters and change their backgrounds. I'm sensing they will make Cyclops black, because they dont want another squeaky clean white boy as the leader of a group like Captain America. X-Men was always "Woke", you buffoon.
And if they update their ethnic make up, that's good. It corrects a past mistake. If we're lucky they'll move quickly to Cyclops' characterization of the last 15 years as the guy who realized Xavier was a hypocritical jerk and led the X-Men down a more successful path.
