Well, it might be beside the point but as we already know every live album ever has overdubbs on them.
But in concerts though, every instrument they they supposedly play has some sort of trickery going on with them.
For example, there's one 80's band in particular. Might be motley crue. Their bass player...
he has said that in concert, he hasn't actually played bass in over 20 years.
And also, if you don't believe me yet here's the thing.
Any time you go to a concert, and it has backup singing like in love in an elevator by aerosmith. And the backup singing sounds like it does on the record.
In order to achieve that backup singing, they have to have 8 singers at once singing it.
But in concert they have 3 singers maybe at the most singing it. Yet it sounds the same as it does on the LP.
Anytime you go to a concert , and the songs that they play sound even remotely similar to the studio recording that can only mean that it has some trickery going on.
The only guitar player I know, that actually played live in concerts without any fakeness is eddie van halen. I could be wrong.
Because he's that good, where he didn't need it.
