Yes. I'm saying that once the Infinity story was told and the arcs closed for characters like Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, they had created an easy exit point for anyone to hang their mcu hat on. I'm not saying the quality has been spectacular but i don't think most of the movies are that much worse than they've ever been. I do think they've struggled to tell a cohesive connected story overall, but the individual projects are still on par with the earlier phases in general. The shows are a different story but the early phases never had to deal with that. The shows are horrible. And there is no good reason for it. The production values look ok. But the writing stinks. I agree. Wandavision and Hawkeye are the only two that Id actually want to watch again. I have enjoyed Loki as well. But stuff like She Hulk or Secret Invasion really caused more harm than good. I don't think they know how to tell tv shows. They think tv shows are just movies cut up into pieces and thats just not true. Tv is a whole different medium and I keep waiting for them to realize that. Tho as i said, the current Loki season is much more accurate for a tv show.

Nothing pop culture can stay at peak interest indefinitely. I do expect an uptick in interest the closer we get to an Avengers movie. It’s kind of what was missing from phase 4 is a team up movie. Not if they are making a dozen consecutive pieces of utter rubbish. Are you seriously suggesting that it was interest that dropped, and not quality? And I’m saying this as someone who never thought that the MCU was exceptional. But it was not as bad as what it became. If the quality was good, the MCU would be very popular right now. But it’s horrible and much of it has to do with Disney and their politics. You want utter rubbish, go watch The Flash or Black Adam.
MCU Phase 4 is is far beyond either of those things.
Oh, and Disney's "Politics" are simply "Let's try to get away from White Male Supremacy, m'kay?"
