No, people reacting to tough times by turning to Far Right governments whose pitch is "if you just let us bash the right minority groups, everything will get better" has always worked out great.

OK. Yellowstone is showing signs of erupting. And we may all die. There is an asteroid that has our name on it. And we may all die. And last. An alien invasion. And we may all die.
Is that fun enough for y'u?

See item "c" in my previous post.
See "polyesther" in my previous post. Please stop acting like you know more about it than I do.
You can't even spell it.

Assuming for a moment that you are attempting a reasonable comment, I have no idea what you're trying to say. But petroleum is used for a lot more than fuel.
Polyesther (polyethylene terephthalate) is made from petroleum. Most of your clothes are probably made from it.
Yes, I already said that most everything you buy is made from or depends on petroleum, in the post where I mentioned the consequences of running low on petroleum are much more than fuel prices/availability.

The world is a chain of succeeding generations, each insisting the world is in a chain of events heading towards catastrophe.
At some point, some future generation is going to have the displeasure of finishing that thought with “Called it.”, but I see no indication we’re any closer to that moment than we have been for the past century.
