i just wish my marriage had worked out...when you're committed for life, those things aren't important because you love each other, no matter what....you know you have someone there to help you when your health fails or vice-versa....you know they'll fight for you, and vice-versa....but that is so rare anymore....marriage is a lot of work....a lot...and it's just easier for some to dump it and start anew...
dating sucks at my age....you certainly don't wanna get into something where someone is purposely looking for a nurse....or a maid...or a governess....and forget younger guys....with them you'll feel like they will always be on the prowl for someone younger than you once you don't meet their expectations.....there's no going into it for love any more....it's all about 'what can someone do for me'.....i'm not even actively trying...if Prince Charming shows up, awesome....if not, God will provide somehow....

I don't know how old you are. And I am wise enough to not ask 2 questions of a woman. How old are you? and When is the baby due? But after I was divorced in my 30's I was like I think I'm done with long term relationships. Then one faithful night I asked one of my oldest female friends (Met her in my RD's Apt watching Star Trk Generations and then got to know her in World Geo 101 later) "I'm bored show me your Boobs." On that we have built a pretty decent long term relationship over past 6+ years. What I'm saying my lame ass can have a long term relationship at 46 based off a very lame attempt to see my friends boobs? Anybody can :) |

Danny Thomas as a starving actor promised to build a shrine to St Jude Thaddeus, the patron Saint of lost causes.
