Recasting should not be a big deal at all. Could even be a good thing as general audiences won’t be reminded of Ant Man 3 when they see the ads for Avengers 5. Bring back Terrance Howard? He could play Kang, but whether he’d want to. Plus it’s a marketing ploy.  Terrible, but then again I never liked him. He's never sat with me well. Not even in the first Iron Man. |

Nothing wrong with liking the villains though. I like virtually all of them, including Kang. The only time I ever don't is if I don't like the actor, or if I do like the actor but I think they were too miscast like Jessie Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. |

You’re not supposed to like Kang. I didn't like Rhodes when he was Terrence Howard either. Nothing wrong with liking the villains though. I like virtually all of them, including Kang. The only time I ever don't is if I don't like the actor, or if I do like the actor but I think they were too miscast like Jessie Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. I generally don’t let the actor him or herself put me off if they are a good actor and right for part. Tom Sizemore was a creep, but a fantastic actor. Too bad he dead so he can’t play Kang. There’s not a huge body type shift and acting style in the actors. Howard is already disliked by the Marvel fans. You might you might not like the, but it’s not necessarily a terrible one. |

I didn't think he was right for the part and every time he was onscreen it took me out of the movie.
I liked Tom Sizemore. If he was a creep it's news to me. Still I liked Majors as Kang and Kang because of Majors, but I wouldn't have him back now cause of the charges. At least with Howard he was recast after only one outing. Recasting to me always looks like chaos behind the scenes, even when it works.

Recasting will be cheaper and faster than retooling the production plans for the next four years writing the Kang timeline wars out of the mega narrative. |

Both Terence Howard and Don Cheadle are puny, and not just in physique. They just don't have the presence to be dominating on screen. Get someone like Yahya Abdul Mateen, Peter Mensah, Kevin Grevioux or Geno Segers. Heck if you want MCU alumni, get Djimon Honsou, Henry Simmons or a variant of Killmonger.
