I have a very hard time believing that NASA would recruit this woman and spend who knows how much money to train her and have to go through the trouble of finding and training someone else just before the mission because they decided one morning that they don't want a black person on the mission. Apparently no reason has been given is because it is a private matter and they can't give specific details to the public.

They had to shut stores, apologize multiple times, lost credibility, lost money, had to hire a diversity officer etc and it still isn't enough for some. The family of the child have received so much negative backlash they have had to move simply for saying they don't what the fuss is about. Claims of racism can still do a lot of damage to people. |

I hear someone shriek "racist" I just roll my eyes anymore. It's been played out.
Liberals act like it is still 1950 or something. Like blacks are hunted for sport in Alabama to this day.
Look at that stupid-assed "pussy hat" march or protest or whatever. 95% of the people there had no idea what they were even protesting.

For this to be racist in intent as the op pointed out NASA would have had to decide to waste their time and money training a black woman then pull her from a mission at the last minute. That makes no sense.
