The money Trump gave (in US tax dollars) did not go toward the development of the vaccine though.
It went towards test trials and replication.

So what if they used for the test trials and replication instead of vaccine development. They still got a billion dollars didn't they? But nevertheless, carry on. The money was an incentive for R&D for a covid-19 vaccine. I watched Trump make the announcement before the vaccine(s) were even close to trial tests. Covid-19 isn't the only covid strain out there and big pharma was probably already familiar with the other strains, so it didn't take long for them to get to the trial stage... hence why the billion went to test trials and replication instead. |

Er… Saint Parton was not only vocal, but on video getting vaxxed, boosted… she’s been super informative and supportive of the medical response during the whole thing. Very out and obvious about it from day one.
