"Brain Salad Surgery". I used to love how they wired Carl Palmers drum kit through Emersons Moog. Way ahead of their time, those boys. (Although I consider "Trilogy" a much 'easier listen'.) Anyway, I strangely have come to terms with the countries overall obsession with Mr Trump. Yea, the guy is anti democracy. Yea, he hates the left with every bit of venom as "TDS". I mean, wait until the far lefties stay home and get that 7-2/8-1 Supreme Court they so richly deserve. After that, a GOP Candidate 47%, Dem 53% result could be an uncontested landslide victory for the GOP. The boards will be rocking, though. I love Trilogy... but like the album art (from the Alien guy, name escapes me) better on BSS :). When I said I don't have TDS, I meant Trump Deity Syndrome, like the entire MAGA base. I hate what the POS and his cult (and the freedom caucus) have done and are doing to our country. I've resigned myself to the fact that all I can do is vote and hope for the best. I try not to spend too much time on it otherwise... anymore.

I actually got a real live Trump supporter to 'admit' the American Experiment has failed, and maybe it's true we need a totalitarian leader in this 'dangerous world', etc. 4 years ago, this guy was 'edumicating' anyone who would listen on the 'purity of the Constitution', he being a proud graduate of "Fucker Tuck U" very night at 8PM, EST. Strange days, indeed.

If anything, I take a liberal stance, and I'm a Democrat who works with the public when I work, and I hear thousands of people in the U.S. express viewpoints. I've never ever heard anyone claim to be MAGA or pro Trump. Never. I don't say anything that would alienate such people from expressing viewpoints, so I conclude that there just aren't very many such people whose lives revolve around Trump. However, I do meet the opposite quite often. Literally 10% of the people who speak to me have revolved their lives around hating Trump. I mean this 10% actually scream out loud that Trump has to go to prison, and some of them want even worse things to happen to him. They demand that you admit he is a racist and rapist, and while I believe there's enough to think he's at least technically a rapist, I've never heard any confession from him to show he's a racist. He pretty much just hates everyone. In fact, he's exactly like the 10% who have the derangement syndrome against him. That's enough to convince me that he shouldn't be a president. It's actually dangerously more than 10% of Americans who fit that description, and I think the number grows every day, with a generation of people trained to be just like Donald Trump replacing the generations that were taught to have some common sense. I'm not gonna say I've never had people who are Republican randomly blurt out their views - I actually had a few encounters with whackos in the last month - but it's by far more liberals who do it. Liberals both talk about Trump (more than Biden) and politics in general more than cons. They need you to know their beliefs (and agree with them). They just assume everyone is a lib and wants to hear their rants. Now I've been in setting where cons do it freely, openly, and often, just not as much as the libs do.
I work with the public too. Longtime nonprofit guy.
