I hate surnames used as Christian names. Campbell, Madison and Cameron etc. can fuck right off! Hahaha. It's been a long time since I've heard first names called "Christian names". I think it comes from baptism.
Interesting that in my family's church, the Greek Orthodox, you must have a Greek Biblical name to be baptized. My first name is Anglo so the Priest changed it to Demetrius on my baptismal certificate.

Sav Sadness’s son is named Demetrius but he was named after Victor Mature’s character in Demetrius and the Gladiators.

There was a movement some years ago among American blacks to avoid names considered slave names, so they sought out foreign names.

He’s a Christian slave who becomes a gladiator.

Hah, they probably didn’t see the film. He’s a Christian slave who becomes a gladiator. I know. There wasn't a lot of logic behind it. But that's why we now have names like LaQuisha and Darnell.

Can I call you Demetrius? Call me Gameboy! But yeah, it's not doxxing or anything. It's only my Church name. When I die I guess I'll have to get used to everyone calling me that.
