Lmao, are people seriously blaming Israel for taking precautions to prevent terrorists from employing their usual M.O? What would YOU do? How would you handle an enemy like that? I was only bringing up one specific allegation. My understanding is many of the Palestinians being detained and arrested are suspected of militant ties. I'm not saying there's nothing to the allegations, but the timing does seem odd considering how many prisoners were just released. It also seems a little much to strip them. Can you imagine if these were Israel soldiers or civilians kneeling, stripped restrained on the beach with standing behind them with guns drawn? For security purposes? Even an IDF spokesperson said they were “suspects”.
I'd be curious to hear your explanation of the photo. It looks like a certain M.O. at work.
If the Israelis were known to carry out terrorist acts, using carefully concealed weapons and explosives, one would EXPECT them to be detained and stripped - Although not by Hamas, they would've just beheaded or burned them. But in any case, stripping is only excessive when you're not dealing with people looking to shiv you in the chest at the first opportunity that presents itself, so I don't see how the IDF is at fault here.
And what's so odd about Israel arresting suspects in a time of war? What does that have to do with "odds"? Should they have waited a few days to alleviate your suspisions?

I suppose it depends how credible the allegations are. If they're just going by "it's possible" then they could detain, strip and search anybody. Like I said, it just seems fishy considering how many prisoners were just released because of the ceasefire. What looks odd about it is it almost passes for replenishing their supply of prisoners.
Besides I've seen virtually everything in that photo at least once with regards to a suspect in the US or Canada except the blindfold. Why that? Is stripped, unarmed and cuffed not enough? You don't even think that's a touch strange?

Hundreds of people were strip-searched and bound on the street in public. If you want to good grief it off then fine, but this is disgusting and dehumanizing. What they're doing is what "following orders" looks like.

What they're doing is what "following orders" looks like. I was strip searched in August 2001 at an airport in LA, for no apparent reason other than I had a camcorder. Not the big airport. Big deal. It was a month before such security measures became mandated, but no one cared.

No. "Following orders" looks like learning that American soldiers are closing in on your death camp so you flee with worked and starved nearly to death skeletal Jews held at gunpoint, then you barricade them in a church and set it on fire to complete your mission. (And if you weren't already the winner of the Galactically Stupid Contest): The decade before that, Jews did not have the privilege of keeping their undergarments on after they - as innocent civilians who never raped, tortured or murdered anyone - were kidnapped from their homes at gunpoint.

Were you knelt, did you have guns trained on you and were you blindfolded?
I hope it didn't bother you because my instinct is to empathize with a traumatic or invasive experience, but it sounds like your point is that it's no big deal. I bet you weren't on the street, hands bound, blindfolded, and among a hundred other people this was all happening to at the same time. I can't promise it will work, but instead of reading about it, try looking up footage of Palestinians lined up in the street half naked and see if you feel the same way. It's why I included the picture. I thought it might be more effective than black and white text. Apparently not enough.

I agree, it's terrible we had to be subjected to viewing all of these fat man boobs, on these Palestinian military age, refugees. I mean aren't refugees supposed to be starving, thin, malnourished.

Yeah, that pro-rape war criminal UN head António Guterres has said FAMINE IS IMMINENT every day since October 8th. Such a good point by you. Btw, I cannot begin to imagine how many posters have "cat" on Block. It's like a bubble, over here. Sup. How you doin?

No one can molest my inner child. I stand at the shore and beat back the waves with my tennis racket.

It satisfies the unrealized dreams of my elementary school gym class success at baseball. Never softball, only hardball. A softball is terrifying; I probably would've panicked at its size, swung and missed and ended up with softball-shaped kidney damage, whatever underhand can inflict. Whoever invented softball hated girls.

In other words you don't see "following orders" in any other context than Nazi Germany. If being apprehended nude bothered you then, why doesn't it bother you now? Because as long as it happens to the other guy it's fine?

The only thing Jewish people abducted from their homes were ever suspected of was being Jewish.

No, strip searching prisoners is not a war crime. Next. The fact notwithstanding it's not clear among multiple photos who's a prisoner and who's merely being questioned, does this not strike you as cruel and unusual punishment? Does that look like a strip search to you?
