I saw it like 40 years ago and don’t plan on seeing it again, so please relax. I’m all for codpieces, even if I think dead fish every time I hear word, so long as they are see through. I'm sorry but you just hit on a personal passion of mine - that the film is shit and the book is excellent. I will stop. I here ya, brother.

A sock or two down the pants should do the trick. Some dudes I know, could use a pantyhose stuffing. Cushions are also useful.

While this dork could use a B12 shot, I like his sports wear!

Please don't post that disgrace of a film on here. The book is excellent - the film is utter garbage. Kubrick produced the biggest lump of shit in comparison to a book, ever, in the world. I liked them both. And the glossary at the end of the book was appreciated. The glossary was shit. The point of the book was to make you work out the language without help. It really fucking annoys me when people can't.

Come on! This is about a shell for your snail, not a stinking' film review thread.

While this dork could use a B12 shot, I like his sports wear! What is the point of styling his face, hair and blouse to look androgynous when he's got a literal dick holder on the outside of his pants? Fashion idiots are the worst idiots, of all. Whose show is that? Manolo Turdnik?

While this dork could use a B12 shot, I like his sports wear! I'd wear nothing but the codpiece. I'd show up at the office in that.

Oh, my brother, willy, willy, willy, no. Tis ‘bout the piece that covers the smelly old coddypoddy, not no cinematik scouldy rum. Translation, the subject is codpieces, not movies. You brought that film into it. It's a shit film. A disgrace to film-making. I think that's too easy to say. It's very much a reflection of it's time and it's aged worse than any other film that I can think of. A reflection of the tribes of youth in the UK at that time which to a large degree no longer exists. After all, if you compare 99% of films to their beloved book source they always come out as worse as the reader has superimposed their own imagination on them which can never be lived up to. It's why Stephen King described cinema as the "ultimate fascist medium" as you are forced into one person's view of a story.
