What's wrong with black coffee? What's the alternative? I hear Americans don't even put milk in their coffee. They use some manufactured chemical called creamer. Nobody knows what is in "creamer" except for HFCS that by law must be put into every food in America. Creamer is just powdered milk. LOL ....

By the way, Nestle is a Swiss company. What's your point ? That's powdered milk ... not coffee "creamer" which is a specific product!

I think the question was answered before it was asked, the rest is riffing. You pointed out that "creamer" is "just powdered milk" and that is not true. That is what I was addressing.

I do! I do! Wouldn't have it any other way. No milk. No sugar. Certainly not cold - piping hot. I'll drink any from gourmet blends to Folger's instant. Usually 3-cups a day. Two in the morning to get my heart started and another mid-afternoon. I will have black coffee with any meal out unless I have beer or the rare cocktail. Black coffee is the magic elixir of life.

They don't really, do they? Like, why? How do they stomach it? Yes they do, especially my husband. I try my best to drink decaffeinated coffee though, but sweeten it with saccharin sweetener, and 2% milk, or flavored coffee creamers. I also like to experiment and make my own flavored coffee creamers. Nope, but in moderation. As I do enjoy coffee, even if it's decaffeinated.

I guess I should of stated, every morning whether my husband or I make coffee, we'll just make one cup of instant coffee; just black coffee which we'll share. But, when I prepare my own coffee, with a flavored creamer; I do so using a decaffeinated coffee.

Depends on the coffee. A really smooth roost doesn't need creamer. My feelings exactly. Exceptional brew doesn't need to be cut with milk.
