Start of the new. My stammer really kicked in and the man at Vodafone asked if he should make a note of it. He must have been thinking of it as a disability while I view it as an annoyance. I'm sorry. What a lousy person. I wonder how many cell phones he got. I hope your stammer has backed up off of you and your stress level has quieted down. At least he won’t get that much money for my phones. I had an old one I used mainly as a media device. I was watching an old film called Panic in the Year Zero on it.

I hope everyone he stole from has turned off their service on those phones, then on his way to hock them he can trip and fall into a ditch, unable to call for help from a pile of stolen dead phones. O Henry for the new age. Did you get to see the rest of the film?

Are you a snatcher magnet or is this the state of things in your neck of the woods?

Probably a bit of both. I’m not exactly the most successful person I know so perhaps I’m just stupid and deserve everything I get. I don’t know if you saw the original subject line but that illustrated how I feel a lot of the time. I toned it down the next day.

I know of no reason you deserve to be stolen from. I imagine there's probably a thriving illegal market for stolen electronics where you live. I guess try to look more vigilant as you walk through the streets like 👀. Was the original subject line something about... ending yourself? I saw something like that. I'm sorry you ever feel that way. You're smart and talented and caring. You can't leave your part of the world to be inhabited by gadget snatchers, alone! What's their talent? At best, maybe one or two of them can play the spoons. At best!!

Well, if it's any consolation I had a bad day once where I decided to stupidly overfill the engine oil of my car and it went bust on me. Bought a second-hand engine and that was that. Costly mistake for being impatient and angry that day. Sometimes you just need to laugh at yourself and the universe. All you can really do sometimes

All you can really do sometimes Which raises the point, how come Harry Baldwin (Ray Millard) never had any trouble with his motor ? I really enjoyed Panic in the Year Zero, but I also spent most of the 60s trying to fix cars that God never intended to be fixed.
I will say no more. It was a fun, nonsensical movie and I hope that Rick got his blood transfusion but, well there you are. One might ask the obvious question, which is why did everyone load up on machine guns and such instead of heading for the nearest garden centre and get some seeds, but I won't.

Guns do better at the box office then seeds which is perhaps why. But my question would be why did the Secretary of State refer to the enemy country as The Enemy when the cease fire is announced on the radio? Seemed a bit vague considering they’d just had a nuclear war.
