Meh. Zach Snyder. His movies are always stunning to look at, but completely soulless, with one dimensional characters and childishly simplistic plots. The last good movie he did was Dawn of the Dead 2004.
i do like stunning...

A bit underwhelming imo. Season 2 and 3 were more entertaining I'm loving it.

this was fucking awesome!
so well done.
Ugh. CG. You gotta go back to the classics for this sort of thing: What have I been binge watching? Jack shit. Though I do want to watch the first season of True Detective.

The live action One Piece is fantastic.
Pretty true to form too.

I did complete the first and second seasons of Stranger Things.
Entertaining but not amazingly entertaining.
IMHO of course.

i've worked a lot of 6 and a half day weeks. i am a bit pooped so i am taking a half day off today and binge watching it looks dark. i know it has to be as it is set in a part of alaska where the sun won't shine again for months but still i am not a fan of films that are all shadow and no substance. i hope this does not let me down but the fact there are only 6 episodes worries me. oh well. as mario says: let's-a-go!

I felt it was mixed. They've never found a way to duplicate the feel of season 1, IMO. It does have some surprises and good performances, though. It's very heavy on the supernatural side. I wouldn't have wanted it to be anymore than 6 episodes, TBH. For me it was an up and down ride.

I finished The Expanse on Amazon. I don't binge generally, but when I noticed/remembered the Expanse, then I plowed through the final two seasons. I completed the final two episodes last night like a movie.
