In recent comments, to-wit: Yup. He was also a deadbeat dad and reportedly did not have an income before he was 40, even then only got a gig in his local government and has done the same stuff since.

I saw this before or something like it. She said on a Bill Maher appearance long ago she does not care for Bernie Sanders at all. Can't say I agree with this who leaves New York when they're 18 argument, but then again, that's probably tongue and cheek. She's hilarious. The first thing that popped into my mind when I heard her speak was "Woody Ellen". I like her and Bernie both. Fran Lebowitz is a conservative. Is that how she identifies or is that the side of an argument she lands in most often?
Just curious cause I don't know her very well. I've seen her twice on Bill Maher. Once, she was smashing and vibrant; my Woody Ellen nickname came from that appearance alone. The next time I saw her, she was off; came across as unwell, like a redo was in order because she wasn't feeling it.

She’s more an apolitical humorist and social critic, but I’ve not heard her be “progressive” in her comedy. She’s very cynical and I love that in humorists. She reminds me of the old Algonquin Round Table set.
