It has been said often enough before, but Trump is crazy and Biden dead and surely in a vibrant nation of 330 millions there is someone who is competent, sane and alive ?

Many cons don’t want trump and support other options Every lib will unconditionally support biden until the party elite replace him with someone who they will unconditionally support

No, there isn't. Other candidates will come and go, but TPTB have decided on a grudge match between those two.

I think this is a contest to see who can put the first dead person into the White House.

It's starting to look and feel like it. God that's depressing.

1. Some 3rd party nobody will end up being on the ballot. 2. A write-in. 3. Not voting.

1. Some 3rd party nobody will end up being on the ballot. 2. A write-in. 3. Not voting. Maybe the problem is with me, but when I saw "alternative" in the thread title, I interpreted it as "practical alternative," that is an alternative which actually has a chance of sitting in the Oval Office.

Maybe the problem is with me, but when I saw "alternative" in the thread title, I interpreted it as "practical alternative," that is an alternative which actually has a chance of sitting in the Oval Office. I see that. My issue with Trump at the moment (besides the obvious) is he's the front runner for a mainstream party but he's practically a protest candidate like Ralph Nader. If this were Trump v Hillary or Obama v Romney with Nader running as an independent and he won, no one would know what he'd do. I don't think protest candidates aim to win as much as disrupt, and right now that seems like Trump.
I don't see an alternative to Trump or Biden either. Hillary can't take another loss and won't. Warren and Sanders seem out. On the Republican side, I thought DeSantis was more of a contender until the debates but now I don't think he's got "it". Trump at least has some competition on his side like Haley and DeSantis. Biden as far as I can tell has nobody. The upper brass of both parties are too damn old.

DeSantis working the "come fuck me" boots. Should the board be worried about you?

DeSantis working the "come fuck me" boots. Should the board be worried about you? Don't worry about it. These are real "come fuck me" boots.
DeSantis does not compare.
