Are you sure they scanned the right one? Yes, but I’m now worried about my left one. You're still better off than Hitler. Apparently, he only had one.

I wake up and look at the phone and it's moving in my hand. I look at the door and that's moving. I try to get up and it's like I'm in a small boat on very choppy waters. Look up the symptoms and it's in a list that includes a cold sweat which I also have. It says get medical help and I discover that I might be having a stroke. Luckily it is an ear infection and the room isn't moving so much today. I'm at my sister's and as I don't have my iPod I probably won't be posting a doodle today. Could have been worse... You could have been experiencing an earthquake. I don't think they have earthquakes in England. But that's what I thought he was describing.

Between 200 and 300 earthquakes are detected and located in the UK each year by the British Geological Survey. Between 20 to 30 earthquakes are felt by people each year and a few hundred smaller ones are only recorded by sensitive instruments. However, most of these are very small and cause no damage.

I've lived in Southern California all my life and I've never experienced an earthquake which did more than knock some plaster off the ceiling. Earthquakes are overrated.

I am just so jaded and not the least bit frightened of earthquakes.
Oh, I did work downtown LA during one earthquake and watched some guy across the street panic and jump out a second story window. The building remained but that poor guy got ruined.

So the 1994 Northridge earthquake didn't affect you at all, beyond knocking some plaster off the ceiling? Of which yesterday, by the way, was the 30th anniversary. Speaking of yesterday...

No, 1994 didn't affect this area at all, besides shaking the ground. The biggest one I felt was where the guy jumped out the window. And that was 1991 I think. That's when I worked downtown LA.

FFS, mate, stop it. At this stage, you should just leave the state right now. :D
