an outrageous decision by these fools
The Federal Govt won't do it's actual job? And Texas is at fault for protecting itself?
The Constitution is clear on this. It is a federal matter. Texas needs to suck it up and wait until a President that agrees with them is elected. Since when can the federal government order a state to violate federal law? I don't recall any such amendment. Immigration laws were passed by congress. It is established precedent that states must abide by federal law.

You realize they're telling the truth........in their own satirical way?
This is how the MSM uses phrasing to downplay or dramatize subject matter depending on the narrative they're pushing.
You could just admit you missed the BabylonBee byline in the OP and fell for it. I did.

There's nothing to admit, Toy....... I didn't need the Babylon connection at all because I've seen several 'straight' articles on Yahoo on these latest developments in Texas.
Babylon can mock it all they want. It's funny........but it really isn't.

The border is the job of the federal government. Unfortunately Congress prefers inaction because some (GOP) see it as a way to win votes. Biden has been pushing for border reform. The senate bill apparently looks good but the GOP in the house can't vote.for it because Donnie wants to use the border as an issue in the election So we are fucked. By the people you support.

When your peeps use the word 'reform'........ it is almost always to their benefit. Just like those electoral maps.
The border has been an issue for decades and Biden made it clear they should flood over it since 2020........so forgive me if I do not accept your notion of 'reforms' accomplishing anything of value for actual American citizens. They've sold us out. Admit it.
You're far more F'd than I........simply by your location and the sheer amount of Illegals that directly affect your daily life. I've got my share, so I can just imagine what it's like there.

It’s how a Constitutional Republic works, Abbey. We had to put up with Trump wrecking things until Biden was elected. I am sure Texas will be ok.
No, it will not be OK........nor will the rest of the country. You've heard Chicago and New York whining already.
If the Feds won't do their job........then oh, well........they don't get to tell others how to do theirs.
New York and Chicago are complaining because of the mess Texas created. Not immigrants, per say.

The Constitution is clear on this. It is a federal matter. Texas needs to suck it up and wait until a President that agrees with them is elected. But the federal government isn’t doing their job in this clearly out-of-control situation. Even Democrats are whining about it. Irrelevant, even if true. There are legal ways to handle this as I listed above. If rightwingers love the Constitution so much, they need to follow everything, even the parts they don’t like.

So if Texas had just sent empty buses, they'd still be complaining?

Nice false equivalency there.

We're all trying to figure out why self-proclaimed sanctuaries don't want to be sanctuaries anymore.
It really just looks like they talk a good game, but when THEY are faced with the actual hassle and costs, it's precisely the same problem Texas was stating it to be.

It’s all about coordination. Texas just dumped them there without coordinating before hand. They wanted this to be messy. If I was Adams, I would put them in a bus and ship them to Abbot’s house. Maybe then he’ll stop being so stupid.

Nope. I really don't see many illegals on any given day. They don't stay here. They are.on their way thru to other areas

And those sanctuaries believed it wasn't 'messy' down in Texas? Where they didn't declare themselves sanctuaries?
