I'm still with Gore Vidal on this. "Don't vote. It only encourages them."Exactly! In Oz though, there are fines for not voting. Still, one has a choice to still not vote and wear the fiscal penalty.

Both are without question too old for another term. It's a massive disservice to America when we're forced to choose between two contenders, both of whom are statistically more apt to die than otherwise before the end of their term. Putting all other points of viability aside with them both, that, all on its own, is surely unacceptable.

I think the probability of an average 81 year old US male dying in the next four years is under 50%. I make it around 33%. Obviously even lower for an average 78 year old. Still higher than I had previously thought though. Of course both will have constant access to much better healthcare than the average American. Edit: I probably should have factored in the chances of them dying before 5 November too. I used this data: www.ssa.gov/oact/STATS/table4c6.html

As of 2020, for white males it's down to 77.28 years. www.macrotrends.net/countries/USA/united-states/life-expectancyI will admit that my cherished fantasy of the moment is to have Dump become the nominee and then die on the eve of the election. This would throw the Reps into chaos, as it's indubitable that El Bloato would have selected anything other than a limp rag for VP, and no time for them to come up with anything better. Ah, dreams...dreams...

The other many believe should be in prison. Its an absurd joke.
