There’s always the Native American option. She is the only option, if a black actor isn't to win in the other categories. There has to be some minority race token nod, or hell and highwater will prevail in phony Hollywarped. Yes, it should be obvious by now that black nominations are usually token and white people are the best actors, ever!

A lot of black folks, look less black than white. Does it matter as long as she has big tits? I’m not a tit man, so yes it matters.

Forcing an opportunity of outcome for an agenda is corruption.

I think Oppenheimer has the actor categories locked down. Best actress could have Lily Gladstone win it but she's native not black. I don't know if the supporting actress category has a favorite right now. So if a Native American wins, would that be enough to not award a black actor? Da'Vine Joy Randolph will win Best Supporting Actress for her moving, funny performance in THE HOLDOVERS. This is one of the very best films I saw in 2023 and like Paul Giamatti - who will win Best Actor, Randolph richly deserves to win. Lily Gladstone will win Best Actress, deservedly I think, and I feel Margot Robbie should have been nominated for Best Actress as well, she was very unlucky not to get a nomination - for me, Robbie's fantastic, fascinating performance - humanizing a doll, was the best thing about the Barbie movie. Meanwhile, check out THE HOLDOVERS, it's set in 1970 and there is nothing about the story or the characters that could be described as "woke".

I have just seen Poor Things and Emma Stone was superb and I found the movie quite sublime with its surreal and weird design/presentation and unbridled sexuality. I also found it very intriguing and mesmerizing from beginning to end.
Stone already has an Oscar though, (not that means anything as Foster won her second in a heavyweight year same as her first), and awarding a Native American will sit well with Academy tokenism. I haven't seen Flower Moon and doubt I ever will.
I didn't care for Barbie in any way, shape or form.

Best is all subjective and entitlement is self-aggrandizing.

So, at least it was proven the Oscars weren’t racist.

Oscars are a joke. The world's a joke.
