At this point he's just hurting himself by continuing to re-visit it. |

At this point he's just hurting himself by continuing to re-visit it. That's not correct. He was not found 'guilty', which would require proof beyond a reasonable doubt. He was found 'liable', which is only 51% certainty. No one is required to accept this lower standard of proof as carrying the same weight as a guilty verdict. It was his initial denial that triggered the first defamation suit, which was made prior to any litigation/verdict. This sets a dangerous precedent that no one is allowed to deny a publicly-made allegation. |
