One old lady spills hot coffee on herself decades ago and suddenly everyone thinks they can sue McDonalds for millions From what I've heard, she had third degree burns over that hot coffee incident.

she was wearing sweat pant type of clothing..........placed a hot cup of coffee between her legs in the car..........and then her thighs squished the piping hot liquid into her own lap.
To this day, coffee is still brewed at around 200 Degrees

Wiki says that according to the NYT, the temperature was reduced in addition to having rigid coffee cups to avoid accidents:

Steps were taken to protect the stupid. You can't outsmart stupid, though.
Coffee is still brewed at scalding temps. Higher actually.........since you'll scald yourself at a mere 155 Degrees.
oh, and one of the top complaints of the elderly for all of these decades before and since that incident? The coffee isn't hot enough.

It could be taken as having a meltie, if being cheesy isn't satisfactory.

I watched a you tube clip of Zuckerberg yesterday at a senate hearing being bullied by a senator regarding any compensations his company was going to give to the parents of their dead children that his online platforms allegedly caused the harm and suicides of and forcing him into an apology. One comment made a salient point, do we blame the knife maker for a murder that the stabber used for their killing? As for the dude eating a burger with cheese that he didn't ask for, did he open it and eat it in the dark, or was he vision imparied. How could you not see the cheese on it?

We order McDonalds from home here in Israel and they can get the order wrong when it comes to sauces or things on sandwiches.
There's a checklist where we can refuse Royal Sauce and we check it, but they'll put it on anyway sometimes.
So I make a special note in Hebrew to the restaurant to refrain from putting Royal Sauce on the sandwich, but they can still put it on anyway.
These guys are in a huge hurry when they arrange sandwiches.
This man's allergy is life-or-death for him. Check a damn sandwich for cheese before eating, for goodness sake.
Peanuts can hide but cheese is a lot more difficult to hide. It's very visible.

Well, the solution clear.

Exactly! I order burgers thru drive-thru without meat on them. I get home and occasionally there is meat on them. It wouldn't harm me, but being vegetarian, I need to check myself before driving off.

It is a non-news report and the man need take responsibility for his own eating actions. It is fast food, made by poorly paid youngsters for the most part.

Either we've got a huge increase in those deadly conditions now...........or people have just gotten that stupid?
If it was life or death, I wouldn't be eating any food I didn't prepare myself.......or a significant other that knew and cared.
