Forcibly? Why would Sweden agree to take them?
Sweden agreed to take Finnish labourers in that time period. Most of them were honest hard-working families, but they came from the rural poor areas of eastern and northern Finland and those parts have statistically higher rates of alcoholism and violent crime. This gave the Finns a bit of a bad reputation as one would often hear Finnish spoken among the winos in Swedish cities and municipalities. Some Swedes would say that Finland on purpose got rid of their dysfunctional population and gave them a one-way ticket to Sweden for better benefits; everyone from Finnish Gypsies to winos went.
According to research, more crimes against life have been committed in Finland than in its western neighbours for hundreds of years. Matti Lehti from Krimo says that historically, alcohol use and crimes against life have been strongly linked.
- One way to reduce the number of crimes against life would be to change the alcohol culture. How this is possible is another matter entirely.
According to a recent study, over 1 000 people have been victims of fatal violence in the last ten years. This is more than anywhere else in the Nordic region. In Sweden, the figure is around 900, even though the country has 4 million more inhabitants.
Another distinctive feature of Finland is that crimes against life occur mostly in sparsely populated areas in eastern, northern and central Finland. In the other Nordic countries, crimes against life are more common in the big cities.

The 'violent' gene: Genetic mutation found only in Finnish men that makes them fight

I think they or their descendants are fairly integrated nowadays, though. I can practically not distinguish someone who is half Finnish from an ethnic Swede.
