Well, I’m the ‘Homer to end all homers’, may as well call me Mr Iliad, lol. My commentary isn’t worth shit regarding the rest of the league. In fact, the Pelicans should pay me for saying “they’re done”. As soon as I did, they turned that game around, lmao. So, to our guys: without Randle, the Knicks are very beatable. They drew Philly, probably the worst first round matchup they could. That said, they can beat Philly. If they do, I like our chances of getting to the final 4 in the east, maybe final 2. But? It’s not the key reason to watch NY. The big reason is? This could be the beginning of a nice run, not seen since the Ewing years. They’re sitting on a ton of offseason capital, and they already have a nice core. It’s certainly possible they can do great this year. If OG plays lights out D, and Robinson can play some quality minutes, they’re going to be hard to score against. Knicks have role players who can drop 20-30 points on you. It’s the ground floor at the Garden, and things are looking up. Oh, and these guys don’t quit, so they’re fun. 😇😀

So I was just checking out this OG chap upon reading your post - impressive. He’s all shoulders and arms!!

I’ll go next year, maybe even a few. I really believe in the chemistry on this team, along with the coaching staff. My biggest concern is the offseason: I’m hoping they don’t bring in a ‘I need the ball’ head case. It was looking like Randle was ‘that guy’, but he has (to my pleasant surprise) jelled very well into the system. A lot of people had him marked for ‘out of town’ last year, but this year showed a marked attitude improvement, and he doesn’t need to be ‘the guy’ anymore. It’ll be interesting to see what goes on with him. OG is a freaking unicorn. Best banger this team has had since Oakley, Mason, etc. I think we went 15-3 with him and Randle in the lineup just after the trade.

Is that like… for banging the glass getting rebounds? Sounds like teamwork has made a comeback. It’s very much how Jon Scheyer is running Duke’s program and Danny Hurley Connecticut’s. And no doubt it has something to do with the Caliparis of the world getting outmoded. I don’t care for vanity cases nor the coaches who pander to them. Go team, go!! Any team, as long as you play like a team!!

I hope Knicks have a good playoff performance this year. Love Brunson's game.

Last time I saw an NBA game at MSG was mid-1970s. Knicks beat Maravich and the Jazz. I'd filled out a 4-game sheet at work and won $10 because the Jazz covered by a point.
Last time I was at MSG it was an international music event. My ex and son and I visited Baba Olatunji in his tiny dressing room. The walkways are really narrow backstage.

I don't remember which station I watched, probably ESPN. They said the only team that Celtics may have trouble in the East is the Knicks. I am psyched. Have not been this exciting since Jeremy Lin.

The loser Kings are out. Their delusional fans actually thought beating Warriors was equivalent to winning championship lol. Warriors got the last laugh.
Pelicans beat them 6 times this year. They couldn't even beat the Pels without Zion.

Embiid goes down again, bet he's done, maybe even off the USA team.
Knicks up 12 at the half.

Maxey is killing the Knicks. 82-79 Sixers lead end of 3rd quarter.

Hart 3 big 3-pointers near the end of the game. Knicks hang on to win.

Denver beats the Lakers. Only 4 turnovers, 1 from a starter.

Home teams won yesterday. There is one road favorite today - Indy -1 1/2 @ Milwaukee.
Will Doc Rivers flame out early? They're going nowhere without Giannis.
