The Irish electing a gay Prime Minister is already a huge achievement it's like America electing its first black president. Did the people really elect him, though, or did he just because prime minister by default as leader of the largest representative party in a coalition government?

Did the people really elect him, though, or did he just because prime minister by default as leader of the largest representative party in a coalition government? He only led Fine Gael into one election, in 2020. FG won 25.5% of the vote. This was the highest share of any party but not enough to rule on their own so he shared the Premiership with Fianna Fáil leader, Micheal Martin. Two years each was the plan. Varadkar had been PM going into the 2020 election because the FG party leader at the previous election in 2016, Edna Kenny, had resigned as PM in 2017.

FG actually came third in the last election in 2020 with a pathetic 20.9%! So Varadkar never won an election by any definition.

The fact that the majority of the population is hetero and not half-Indian is the trouble. He's token--a mascot.
If current conditions are such that only a half-Indian homosexual is the one with the most merit for leadership than the society is dying. If the vote is rigged then it means the best people are being prevented from running society.

They don't care if Varadkar is a green Martian who rogers sheep in O'Connell Street as long as he does something about the cost of living.
But he ain't.
According to family and friends in the old Country, Leo is seen as a decent, but strangely ineffectual bloke who enjoys being Taoiseach and well, that is it. He is a sort of Irish Rishi Sunak, the sort of lad you would happily buy a pint, but not vote for.

So that was how Brexit was over turned and the UK rejoined the EU ?

Trump really is the dumbest politician in history. He hates reading long briefings even more than mowlick ;) I don't mind a good read, but I have read your stuff from one end to the other but still can't find the bit where Varadkar and Barniers persuaded the UK to rejoin the EU. Still, I dare say that you will repost that part in due course

So You suggest Varadkar and Barnier acting against ' people's will ' of the UK? Please, that's the job of clueless British politicians! What can be said though is that Barnier successfully managed to intercept any tries of the British corps of diplomats in the shadows trying to persuade single potentially fragile EU members to become an obstacle in the Brexit negotiations and act against their people's will. He had been >>> f f f f f >>> faster >>> ! I thought I'd be of help making at least a little part of your predictions becoming the truth.
