Any England fan who can afford to buy that kit is clearly not being taxed enough.
I mean... £125?? What the hell is it made of? Baby cashmere?
Still cheaper than many phones. True! Although it will probably take a few more months for those phones to end up in some landfill somewhere in the third world.

Same price as a Moxie remote control vibrator.

What a shame that households aren't given the choice simply not to buy these shirts. Instead they are forced to stretch their household budgets even further than usual in order to acquire them! I blame the government. In all seriousness, I'd love to read a story where Nike were stuck with warehouses full of England shirts fresh out of their Thailand and Vietnamese sweatshops that they couldn't sell because they set the price too ridiculously high. But I know that won't ever happen.
Tabloids could prepare another story: refugee wearing England shirt (in the hope of better acceptance) getting criticized for showing off with a shirt normal people cannot afford. By the way - some German politicians now try to gain popularity with pushing the DFB to rethink its decision for Nike... (lol)

More likely there'll be another of those bonkers petitions on Change.org demanding that 'the Government' subsidises these shirts so they can be given out for free. You know, since 'the Government' has loads of money and everybody is poor. This is what socialism does to people's brains.

The (black) market will react: Criminals (?) will find ways to import myriads of fake shirts from China or Bangladesh. Or inofficially offering other shirts with 'anti-woke' colors... ;) Nevertheless it's a bad move to sell these shirts for such a big price anyways: nationalism is the poor's last resort of pride. One should make this as cheap as possible.
