What does it mean he was cast because of his backwoods boy looks? It is highly likely he looked the way he did in the movie, because of "inbred" genetics. That would be near fact for hillbilly breeders.

Why are you guys down on this man? He’s sick and probably dying. I hope he has loving friends and family to take care of him. Who is down on him? I only see well wishes on this thread. I think it's a damn shame he was screwed oyt of compensation for his role, it was the most iconic in the film. People don't remember anything else about the movie, but they remember the banjo kid. At the very least, he looks like he aged out of his inbred look. I thought this was going to be a thread about Joe Biden. he looks less inbred as an adult. |
