The Yankees are the 4th team to get to game 5 after down 3-0 in the World Series. The others are 1970 Reds, 1937 Giants, and 1910 Cubs. No team in the World Series ever took it to game 6. |

Bob Costas has announced his retirement from MLB play-by-play broadcasting after 44 years, per Andrew Marchand.
Costas will continue to appear on MLB Network as an analyst.
