bibles usually cost $10-$20, why is trump's $60? because he's a greedy fuck. Timothy 6:10 (NIV): "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs." Ecclesiastes 5:10 (NIV): "Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless." Luke 12:15 (NIV): "Then he said to them, 'Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.'" Proverbs 28:25 (NIV): "The greedy stir up conflict, but those who trust in the Lord will prosper." Hebrews 13:5 (NIV): "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'" Matthew 6:24 (NIV): "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money." Bibles are free! I've gotten well over 30 from the hotel nightstand drawers over the years. why have you needed so many bibles over the years? whether you're losing them, burning them, collecting them, or giving them away... sus.

Like Roman Catholics, those Fundamentalist Christian probably consider it sacrilegious to actually read the Bible.
So it comes full circle that Protestants have forgotten why they became Protestants in the first place. Because Protestants didn't feel it necessary to have a Priest or Preacher interpret the Bible for them. Also because Protestants didn't want to have to worship a statue of the "Virgin Mary" since they considered it to be the worship of a false god and idolatry.
Latter more specifically called "Mariolatry".
Which Fundamentalist Christians and Christian Nationalists have obviously forgotten. Because they now worship Donald Trump as a false god taking the place of Jesus as their savior.
Meanwhile Donald Trump rakes in the profits, capitalizing on the "700 Club" effect.
This being "Good Friday", it is a strangely appropriate sermon being given by a Pagan. That I should have to point out to Christians exactly what they are doing wrong should be beneath me.

How else am I supposed to realize my dream of a house constructed entirely of bibles?
