Are you talking about free speech? In Germany it is illegal to deny the Holocaust happened. I suspect nobbi is railing against the culture war to avoid discussing the issue phluie Sadly the imdb2 politics board is gone, so I can't prove anymore that I have indeed discussed that I see a problem in distinguishing between whether a teen is in a 'wrong body' or gay or just in a natural phase of experimenting with gender role models. Medical intervention can be very harmful, not intervening can be very harmful, too. There is a longer time window where you can wait, whether the problem 'sorts itself out' followed by a shorter window where not acting also leads to severe harm. The discussion on that should be held by experts, not by authors. |

That idiot Humza Yousaf has had over 8000 accusations of hate speech leveled at him by the public ' and reported to the police, since the new law came into effect, but he has not been arrested and charged with any crimes. |

Apparently she wasn't charged. Not a nice experience and this shows how laws can be abused by malicious neighbours but I still haven't seen much come out of these thousands of accusations. |

I live in a country which is very selective about which non-truths you are allowed to speak. "The moon landings never happened" - legal. "The Holocaust is a hoax" - illegal. " There are only two genders" could be as true as the above statements. I am not sure about the legality of it.How do you enforce it? |

Either way, the UK government has not jailed her for opening her mouth. So, she is clearly lying if she claims her free speech is under attack. She is not lying at all. The law says what she claims it says. Fascism takes hold when people remain silent as it creeps in. It's best to nip it in the bud as early as possible. |
