Holee shyte the WNBA is even more pathetic than ever
You have to have revenue before you can pay big salaries. That may start to happen with Clark in the league this season. TV revenue will definitely be up. I went to a few Phoenix Mercury games around 20 years ago. Arena was always close to capacity. But hardly any men in the stands.

God damn. Did someone hurt you recently? They only care about women's sports if there is a trans person wanting to join. Then the chivalry rolls up.
As well as the total scores

dumb thread. Apparently you don't know she's already a millionaire from NIL (Name, image, likeness) deals. She has deals with Nike, Gatorade, Buick (??), State Farm, Bose, Shoot-A-Way, Hy-Vee, H&R, Topps, Panini America, Goldman Sachs, The Vinyl Studio.
Have you considered this is all just manufactured BS outrage? Not on my part, though....... I just post the articles/headlines for the sake of discussion.
see? Here's more..........
The Independent Caitlin Clark’s rookie salary with WNBA sparks outrage Meredith Clark Updated Tue, April 16, 2024
Caitlin Clark, the record-breaking NCAA basketball star, was selected first pick in the 2024 WNBA draft by the Indiana Fever. However, her rookie salary with the professional league has sparked outrage over pay disparity in women’s basketball.
According to Spotrac, a website that tracks sports contracts, the 22-year-old athlete is expected to sign a contract with the Fever worth $338,056 over the course of four years. She will earn $76,535 in her rookie season this summer, and is projected to earn an annual salary of $97,582 by the end of her four-year contract.
Unsurprisingly, many fans were quick to point out that Clark’s rookie salary is far less than her male counterparts in the NBA. In fact, Victor Wembanyama - the first pick in last year’s NBA draft - signed a four-year contract with the San Antonio Spurs worth $55m, per Spotrac. He earned more than $12m in his first season alone.
When you've spent decades undermining capitalism and churning out stupidity under the guise of 'equity' and being fair.........what do you expect?

The wage gap is a myth and if is is promoted that women need to earn more to match men, it is an establishment ruse to boost up expenditure and capitalism. It is a known fact that females are frivolous spenders.

comments from the article: (rofl) You should've just led with saying she's worth a whole lot more from endorsement deals, but then again, you wouldn't have a fake narrative to push that someone is spending a few months salary on one outfit. 1 hour ago Let’s not be mistaken, she paid $0 for the outfit and was likely paid by Prada for the advertisement. 3 hours ago The outfit was free provided by Prada. Basically advertising their brand. Caitlyn wore it well, with a touch of class. She may not get to keep any of the clothes. Sometimes for awards ceremonies the brands dress the person but it's like a prom rental-goes back the next day. So she may keep one item or none of the ensemble.

I think most of the point here is it's manufactured outrage.
Whether she gets the gear for free or just on loan........doesn't really matter, does it? She's doing fine.
It was just a vessel for them to repeat their lies

I thought that gal got busted in Russia because Russia pays better to American athletes to play there. So Russia is good with our female athletes but you aren't?

She was playing in Russia for more money. She got busted for thinking illegal drugs would be given a pass everywhere, like in the US.
I'm fine with female athletes. I'm not fine with these BS calls for 'fair pay' or the insinuation that corporations pay less to female workers.

There'll be a dozen more similar articles
Fans? As Bill Burr pointed out, if there were enough fans, then they could pay more like the NBA.
And let's not forget, for awhile (at least a few years there) the female pro tennis players were the much bigger draw than the boys.

But your thread isn't really about the pay gap. It's about her clothes. 🤷🏼♂️

Do you think she paid for her clothes or were they given to her. Think about it.
