I just can't believe a buncha towelheaded religious nuts are still in charge of a college educated crowd of men
They're not really mutually exclusive. Famed religious nut Osama Bin Laden had a degree in civil engineering. Ayman al Zawahiri was a physician al Baghadi, the leader of ISIS also attended college and apparently attained a doctorate.
so it's a buncha towelheaded college educated religious nuts in charge of a college educated crowd of men?
Doesn't alter my view

You mean other than the fact that $200-$300 oil prices would obliterate our economy? And before you try it...we buy next to no oil from the Middle East. What little we actually import comes mostly from Canada. But oil is priced globally.
We have our own oil, too......... just gotta get back to drilling and finding even more
Bringing our military home might save a ton of $Funds, too

We're already a net exporter of oil. We already produce enough to meet our own demands. This has been the case for over a decade. And in the past few years oil exports have been at record levels. Drilling more doesn't change the fact that oil is a globally priced commodity.

Except it does..........more Supply means lower prices
Besides, the US is going completely electric anyway, right? No worries

Besides, the US is going completely electric anyway, right? No worries I..literally just explained to you why, when it comes to oil, more supply DOES NOT automatically mean lower prices. Because oil is a GLOBALLY PRICED commodity, war in the Middle East impacts the price of oil produced in Texas and Canada. Which is why war in the Middle East impacts our gas prices despite the fact that we buy next to no oil from the Middle East.

1. Then maybe you can explain to everyone why OPEC cuts production whenever they feel the price is too low?
Yes, the price is determined by Demand on a global market........but more Supply would certainly lead to lower prices. Did you forget a few years back when Oil was in the Negative?
War always impacts stock markets because of supply lines and fear.

How about you respond to the entire post instead of highlighting small sections of it and then asking questions which have already been answered in the part you ignored? For example, I've pointed out several times that we already produce more than enough oil to meet domestic demand. You've ignored it every time.

Seriously wtf is Israel thinking… They're probably thinking they're getting a little tired of being attacked from all sides in that area. They're probably also sick of Biden's America going to bat for everyone attacking America's ally. It's funny how Israel is "dragging America into a war" by getting itself SHOT AT for the last 6 months.

I haven't ignored it............ I glibly pointed out how we're going all electric
So our own pumped oil should be even more plentiful soon........and cheaper, too right? (I'll be over here NOT holding my breath)

No. It won't be cheaper because reasons I've already provided.

They're probably thinking they're getting a little tired of being attacked from all sides in that area. Well escalating things isn’t going to help. Depends on who you intend to help. You don't mind the enemy escalating as much as they want. Maybe you are the enemy.

Just gonna keep ignoring that Demand part of the equation, huh?

Gonna keep ignoring that "demand" you keep bring up is GLOBAL, not local, which means the SUPPLY is GLOBAL, not local as well, huh? As evidenced by the fact that we're producing more than ever, exporting millions of barrels, and the price is STILL going up.

And that would mean the Demand is going up, too
But, as I said..........the US is going all EV so we won't be demanding as much, right?
