It sounds like she's out of control and a dangerous to those around her. There's only one humane option left. Off to the gravel pit then. Agreed. Take her out back and shoot her in the back of the head.

Okay, then why start a thread about someone so insignificant? US Governors are not 'insignificant'. Where did you get that idea? Where's your weekly thread about governors mistreating pets then? The Governor of California gut punching a squirrel.

She's also the woman who bragged about her 4-year-old granddaughter already owning guns. Brilliant Gee, what will happen if the granddaughter points the gun at her?!?

It’s seems she relished telling this story about killing a “less than worthless” bitch and an un-castrated, “nasty and mean” old goat. As a long-time volunteer for a cat rescue non-profit, and an animal shelter, I'm one of the people who has heard these stories way too often. And I'm one of the people who takes in animals that aren't in good homes, deals with behavioral issues and re-homes the pet. I have goat that I rescued last year, the owners had screwed up, the mother goat wasn't nursing her babies, they needed colostrum, one kid died and the other one developed enterotoxemia. They didn't want to spend any more money on the sick one. I was at the vet clinic when she was in there with the baby goat; he was only 3 days old. She was going to take him home and have her husband shoot him. I talked her into giving it to me, I took the goat back in to the vet, bought the medicine, took him home and bottle fed him for weeks. Today, he is out in his pen, basking in the sun after eating his grain and hay, and I will hand-walk him out to the pasture to graze for a bit, soon, after I bottle feed the baby kitten that someone put into a dumpster. I've been feeding him every 3 hours since Saturday. People like this woman make me want to kill. I wouldn't, of course, but her inhumanity to animals is just wrong. And her inhumanity to humans isn't far behind.

We had to put down a baby calf a couple of weeks ago and it was just heart wrenching. The calf was born with deformed legs and was never going to be able to walk. What we did was mercy, what Ms. Noem did is not. Anyone that works with, or has, animals knows this. If she was unable or unwilling to train her hunting dog, some other hunter would have taken it.

That poor calf, he never would have been right. I've had two horses humanely put down that were sick, suffering and never going to be well. It ripped my heart out, but I couldn't let them suffer. The veterinarian took care of it. I just don't understand cruelty. And humans are the only ones that seem to have this predilection. Animals kill only for survival.

Of course, that daughter was probably around when her mother killed the dog and the goat that day. Who knows how scared that daughter was, and how traumatized.
