"When fascism comes to America. . . ." Faith and Fascism are a toxic brew! Faith can be a front for many things.

‘Bad Faith: Christian Nationalism’s Unholy War on Democracy’ Review: A Scary Look at the Potential Soldiers of a Second Trump Reign
The followers of Christian Nationalism want a theocracy. Stephen Ujlaki and Chris Jones's chilling film suggests that another Trump presidency could help them get it.
By Owen Gleiberman Bad Faith - Critic's Pick
“Bad Faith: Christian Nationalism’s Unholy War on Democracy” is the scariest film I’ve seen in a long time. It’s a documentary that explores the rise of Christian Nationalism, and much of what it shows you, about the mutation of the Christian Right into a movement that’s openly abandoned any loyalty to democracy, has been covered in the mass media in recent years. But the film’s directors, Stephen Ujlaki and Chris Jones, go deep into the roots of this movement, and what’s new and disquieting is how the current presidential race changes everything. Viewed against the looming possibility of Donald Trump’s re-election (a scenario that most liberals I know believe is unlikely; I think they may be seriously deluded), the rise of Christian Nationalism takes on a whole new meaning.

The Christian Nationalist movement was the driving force behind the January 6 insurrection, and what we saw there was a preview of their ideals and methods: a frothing hostility toward the U.S. government, coupled with the willingness to use violence.

I don't know what Christian Nationalism is, and no one here has defined it, and the only descriptions that are posted here are "not legalizing murdering babies for any convenient reason, and yet the new law overturning Roe vs Wade is totally pro life, having abortions when the mother's life is in jeopardy if she has the baby, and another clip where a preacher states "there is good and evil" which is a reality. We're supposed to hate a preacher for stating that there is "good and evil"?
I've gone through this thread and I've seen mostly people who are out of touch with reality and out of touch with humanity and out of touch with whatever sane people still live in this world.
Just wanting to believe something doesn't make it true. Just pointing at people whose looks you don't like and giving them a label is how nearly every atrocity began.
You'll have to show a few things, and maybe you can show them. You have to show that this "Christian Nationalism" exists outside of the labels that the wackos of the world want to label people whose looks that they don't like. You have to show that these people whose looks you don't like think of themselves as this "Christian Nationalist" label, because just because you want to believe someone is something he isn't will not make that person into something. Just being a control freak and thinking you are God doesn't make you God.
After you show all of this, then you have to show there is an actual group of this so called "Christian Nationalists" (I have never met any of them), then you have to show that these people are taught to do evil things. Then you have to show that these evil things that they do are sanctioned by the alleged group they are in. Then you have to show that they are committing atrocities.
So far, none of you have shown a single one of these things, which makes moderates believe you are delusional and more dangerous than this imaginary "Christian Nationalism" that the modern day mobs can just accuse anyone of being a part of.
I never heard of January 6 protesters claiming to be Christian Nationalists. Did some claim this? All of them have to claim this for the label to fit. That may hurt your feelings, but that's Reality. Again, just wanting to believe something does not make it true.
How are you going to identify your "Christian Nationalist"? Will you torture people till they confess? If someone claims he isn't one, will you tell him he can't be promoted in your company until he confesses, and trick him, then say "Aha" like the hypocrites do?
You're sounding like you have no concept of Reality, and there is an entire thread of brainless sheep agreeing with you. Why would they do this, unless they want to play God with other people and falsely accuse whomever they want to accuse.
Is some lunatic on this board going to falsely accuse me of being a Christian Nationalist? Am I dealing with Robespierre and Marat?
You and your mob are doing a witch hunt of people who believe unborn babies still have souls. Are you also going to do a witch hunt of people who speak up for people who believe that we don't know if a fetus is a soul? Are we next? I already know the answer, because I've already been discriminated against and slandered and banned from social groups for saying that I don't know and that I am not God. Your mob here is out in the real world, too, and they are the loudest and most stubborn control freaks all through the United States.
This entire thread sounds like a mob doing a witch hunt. You sound like Pope Innocent III going after the Albighensians. . I'm more scared of your mob than I am of these imaginary Christian Nationalist groups that you claim exist, because you can just claim anyone whom you want to persecute to be this label of Christian Nationalist.

Steve Schmidt and BAD FAITH director Stephen Ujlaki join Scripps News to discuss a new documentary about the rise of Christian Nationalism in the United States. This vital and timely documentary tells the disturbing story of the rise of Christian Nationalism in the US and how some are perverting religion to achieve their political goals. Steve Schmidt explains that this dangerous political movement wrapped under the guise of religion is very different than Christianity itself.
Both you and Steve Schmidt are fully in support Jewish nationalism.

When did it go from "white nationalism" to "Christian nationalism"? It's not like you're seeing more non-white faces at their rallies these days than you used to....

Do you think America should declare itself officially a Christian nation and our laws should be based on the Bible? If so, then you are a Christian Nationalist. Thank you for the definition. It gives a clearer picture. That would be illegal, and there would be no way to do it, because even Christians are divided on that concept. But your definition gives a clear look now, because I've seen a few of those disturbing posts, probably from about two of my thousands of facebook regular friends and game friends, less than 1%, who post that "divisive" Christian post that alienates all other religions. You know the one I mean. "There is no way but Jesus", which is meant to be divisive, and which is used out of context, because Jesus said he was the way at a time when he walked in person, but clearly said later that he was leaving, and he would leave us with the Holy Ghost. So, I see what you mean. There is a fringe group of less than 1%, and most of them seem to be quoting from the same "master post" that they copy from the person who wanted to spread the divisiveness. That's a real fringe group with no support. And the ones I know about aren't going out in the streets to shout it. They just post it out of desperation from being discriminated against. So they have no clout to do anything. Which points to them being the opposite of a "threat" to anyone.

Making America a Christian nation is their goal and they have big plans for you in the second Trump administration.

Somewhat the opposite really. They're just using it as a natural response to the Communists and child molesters and other unsavory types which they have placed in power over the years. We're expected to rally under this Christian Nationalism to depose them. I wish I could tell you that they're our advocates, but they're not. And if these individuals are not our advocates, it would be fair to ask who is, and that's where the news gets really bad. We don't have any. Not in this world anyway.

When did it go from "white nationalism" to "Christian nationalism"? It's not like you're seeing more non-white faces at their rallies these days than you used to.... When the former got used too much and stopped scaring people.

I have no doubt there are unpleasant people among American fundamentalists and some of them might be quite influential in their counties or even states. But, as far as danger to America goes, they are less than nothing when compared to the hordes of "progressives" supported by the educational system, federal departments and federal law enforcement, a big chunk of the justice system, media, tech giants and so on and so forth.
