"Hundreds over and over" believing in anything stupid doesn't make that the opinion of the vast majority of people. Believing trivial things are "huwite supreme" is pretty common, even among less crazy people. I've read mainstream journalism claiming everything from camping to pet ownership to exercise is white supremacy. It's long since been to the point you can't have a policy discussion it's just "You're a racist/Nazi/bigot/xenophobe". Just look at the AfD thread I'm in right now. I'm not saying to blame you or anyone else but asking you to consider if it's not done on purpose to redirect people toward useless or self defeating things. You've also read "mainstream journalism" claiming multiple false right-wing conspiracy theories that are not the majority opinion of conservatives. There's no spinning the fact that the story in the OP is something most leftists find incredibly stupid. Adding up what's believed by one group or another doesn't make that the majority of people believing in any of those things.

The examples I posted above are tangible things that Leftie idiot fringe groups have made happen. Many of them began as an idea on the internet, like the topic of this thread. The first thing you could do is not vote for politicians who enable such things. Far-right fringe groups emboldened by the crazy rhetoric of far-right politicians don't exist of course. What crazy far right-wing things have come to fruition?

I'm not saying to blame you or anyone else but asking you to consider if it's not done on purpose to redirect people toward useless or self defeating things. Some of those articles get knee-jerk responses from people looking to play defense, though. For example: There was an article about surfing being seen as a "white" activity and questioning why more blacks don't surf. There was nothing in the article that said whites were keeping blacks from surfing or oppressing blacks or any of that. If anything, the article was written for blacks with the POV that they should investigate the sport more, which is great. Get more kids of every back ground involved in sports. Adults, too. Of course, the immediate response was the assumption surfing was being called racist, and that was not all what was printed. Obviously that's not the case with subject in this thread, and the SJWs are really being try-hard with this ridiculous comparison. But not every article about blacks is an attack on whites. I remember the camping thing though. Blacks needing safe spaces in the woods away from whites or some nonsense. That one was race-baiting nonsense.

It is Britain’s Order of Saint St. Michael medal. It shows St. Michael standing on the head of Satan. The usual suspects are now demanding that it be changed because it is reminiscent of Derek Chauvin kneeling on the neck of George Floyd. Is it? … and why? ![](https://i.imgflip.com/8o7zdh.jpg) Everything iconic of our past will ultimately be attacked, forbidden, or co-opted. People keep seeing it over and over and still call me a conspiracy theorist. Rightfully so. Has the design of the medal been changed? No it hasn't. And people can demand anything. I would like property of anti-choicers confiscated and donated to just causes. Like a penthouse appartment in Vienna for me. Doesn't mean it will happen.

The right is full of such people, and we have a term for them, "Con Inc".

For example I give you the Washington Redskins. I'm old enough to remember the 90's when the idea of changing the name was ludicrous and fringe, (in the 80's nobody even complained ) but by presenting themselves as mainstream they gained acceptance and eventually got corporate support, then forced a name change.

It's not the left's responsibility to seek out any and all silliness on the Internet and denounce it as if not doing that should mean they support any of it.

And Leftie nut-jobs sure are loud. If it’s “not your responsibility” to denounce them, then don’t be surprised when your apathy is seen as approval. And in typical Leftie fashion, you blame others (right-wingers) for your own inaction.

Of course, because the best way to deal with nutjobs spreading stupidity is to seek out their nonsense, bring it to the forefront and entertain it as worthy debate. That always makes them go away and not become louder.

It’s lefties (like you) who are complaining about it. I didn’t make this thread.

They fester and then explode into public view when the time is right … like CRT, drag queens for kids, and gender fluidity, to name a few. So, yeah. It is necessary to speak out and expose the stupidity, before it can take root. You might be too lazy to do so, but some of us are not.

Actually CRT has been around for decades without issue and not part of any public school curriculum and it's only the far-right's desperation in making it their go-to boogeyman to "own the libs" that made it anyone's "hot topic" today. The same goes for drag queens and everything else you guys enjoy whining about. As for laziness, yeah I'm sure that's indicated by not obsessing over random stupidity posted on the Internet for the sake of taking shots at the left rather than the opposite.
