If you get rid of the crowns there then the most likely successor is a caliphate. Here’s your caliphate. You praise Mecca every time you fill up your gasoline guzzler.

As much as I would love to see the Saudi Royal Family receive the Romanov treatment, I fear the alternative would be even worse! Under a monarchy, they still string up the gay fellas, you can't find a pint anywhere and the women folk can't even wear shorts never mind a swimsuit. History is full of examples of autocratic monarchies being deposed in a revolution only to be replaced by a far worse alternative. It happened in France, where the revolutionaries instituted a bloody reign of terror that fortunately was short-lived. It happened in Russia, where the revolution brought about a brutal regime that oppressed Russians for decades, with effects still felt today. It happened in China, where the victorious revolutionaries created one of the most evil regimes in history, that still oppresses the Chinese people nearly eighty years later (although in this case the monarchy was already long gone by the time the revolutionaries came to power). It happened in Iran, where the fanatics replaced the Shah dictatorship with a much more repressive theocracy that still rules the country with an iron fist 45 years later. So be careful what you wish for, as there is a very good chance that if the utterly despicable Saudi monarchy is deposed, the new regime would be worse not only for the Saudis themselves but, considering the money and influence the country has, for the entire region and indeed for the whole world.

Twaddle, I stopped reading after the third sentence, but i'm sure that's very interesting. Have a good day.

This sentence here?
What exactly do you find objectionable about it? I mean, I suppose someone COULD potentially be so naive as to believe that Communist Russia was an improvement over the Tsarist regime, but you would have to be completely blinded by ideology to disagree with a single syllable of "the revolution brought about a brutal regime that oppressed Russians for decades".

Almost certainly a hoax. To the point that even the denials come from virtually unknown sources. Nothing on any major news site.
