Hi, Dark. Here I am, quite late. Yours: The Mission 8.5/10 I loved it, I found it quite intense and moving. Both Jeremy Irons and Robert De Niro were great. I loved Ennio Morricone's score too. Mine: Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes 7.5/10 The new one. It's set hundreds of years in the future, from the other movies. A young ape lives in his village, but their territory gets invaded by the army of a powerful warlord who's looking for a mysterious human girl on the run. I enjoyed it. It's a bit too long, IMO, but I thought it was fuhn. The motion capture effects are really impressive. Also, there's an actor, Peter Macon, he plays a wise ape who helps the lead character, is really great. He makes you forget you're watching a special effect. Babette's Feast 8/10 It's a movie with Stephane Audran, it's about a couple of sisters, very religious, in a small village in Denmark in the 19th century, who hire as a help a French woman, who ran away from Paris after the commune was destroyed by the French regime and her husband and son were killed. I liked it, it tookl me a bit ot really get into it but it's really well made. I loved Stephane Audran. Strangers on a Train 9/10 Alfred Hitchcock movie, with Farley Granger and Robert Walker. It's really a classic. It's so beautiful visually and subtle. It's quite creepy too. Robert Walker was really great. I liked Farley Granger as well. The Last Temptation of Cjrist 9/10 It's Martin Scorsese movie, with Willem DaFoe and Harvey Keitel, about the life of Jesus. It's really a beautiful movie, very fascinating and powerful. Willem DaFoe was great. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes - Not sure I'll see this in theaters, but I'll definitely watch it. I just rewatched the original 5 movies this past week and rewatched the Andy Serkis trilogy recently as well. Strangers on a Train - A favorite of mine. Glad you mentioned Robert Walker, I think his performance is brilliant. 9/10 The Last Temptation of Christ - Didn't care for this the first time, but thought it was pretty good the second time. Still near the bottom of my Scorsese rankings though. 7/10 I actually prefer the original movies. The first one is an absolute classic, IMO. The third one is close. The only one I didn't like is the last one. I've seen only two of the ones with Andy Serkis. We agree on Strangers on a Train. I actually read that Alfred Hitchcock wasn't completely satisfied with either lead actors, even if then he conceded that Robert Walker stroke a chord with audiences.

Strangers on a Train - one of my all time favourite films, great villain. 9/10 The Last Temptation of Christ - I could take Keitel seriously with his thick New York accent in this film. Mixed bag for me 5/10 It's better than the trailer actually. I enjoyed the first one, of the new Planet of the Apes movies, and I really, really liked the second one. I haven't seen the third. The Harvey Keitel thing didn't bother me, but yeah, he definitely always has a modern New York vibe. Have you seen The Duelists, Ridley Scott's film? He plays a French officer from the 19th century there, only one who apparently was born and raised in Brooklyn. I love him though, he's a great actor, so it's not really a problem for me.

Yeah the original Planet of the Apes is a classic for sure. War for the Planet of the Apes (the third Andy Serkis one) is actually my favorite of the entire series though.
