Check out the album Lang did with Neko Case and Laura Veirs if you don't know it. Well worth a listen. This is from it. Simply delicious.

Ah, Boyd Rice & Friends!... I like all those albums Boyd did with Death In June (Music, Martinis & Misanthropy, Scorpion Wind, Alarm Agents, etc), though maybe he did one too many as it did get kinda monotonous and samey in the end. I think Boyd and Doug parted company for good after Alarm Agents was recorded in 2004. Probably a good thing. Music, Martinis and Misanthropy is the first and best of their collaborations. Boyd also appeared on Death in June's Wall of Sacrifice and All Pigs Must Die LPs as well as some Current 93 albums. Boyd's (NON's) pure noise albums are good too...I esp. love Blood & Flame from 1987. This track is particularly mesmerizing:

Radio Werewolf made some interesting experimental and dark ambient records but they started out as a Gothic rock band in L.A. in the mid 1980's...this particular song is one of the band's earliest recordings. Nikolas Schreck, the band's vocalist/leader, collaborated with Boyd Rice in the late 80's and also appeared on Death in June's Wall of Sacrifice LP in 1989.

This track is particularly mesmerizing: I have rather a weakness for the stuff he did under the "Spell" name with the ethereal Rose McDowell. (such a close knit world this neo folk stuff). Although the man is a complete arsehole at times with his Social Darwinism and kissing up to Manson etc he has undoubtedly made some fine records. There's a very good documentary I have somewhere about his love for all things "tiki" that is worth searching out.

Is he married to Le Vey's daughter? Another incestuous Le Vay/Boyd/Manson circle I would guess.
