They won’t hold a session about the hostages, though.

I'm still waiting for the UNSC to hold a minutes silence for the upwards of a million dead Iraqis and Afghans GW Bush murdered for his own self aggrandisement. The butcher of Baghdad has never been held to account for his war crimes. His acolytes have blamed his underlings. It wasnt me. It was Cheney/ Rumsfeld/ Blair.

They (UN SC) won’t hold a session about the hostages, though.
GENEVA (Reuters) - The United States on Monday led a moment of silence at the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva to commemorate the lives of people killed in the major Hamas attack on Israel.
This isn't the fucking UN SC, of course, which has not held a session about the hostages.

Let's be honest, the UN is a complete joke as they have little power and no moral authority.

Western diplomacy is as much of a disgrace as the UN, too.
They get their mega-rotten diplomatic approach from the UN.
Every time I hear these stupid people suggest that a "political" strategy is necessary when dealing with serial killer groups, I want to suggest to them that they go into an alligator's nest in a protective cage and see if they can talk the alligators into a political deal.
Hopefully, the cage doesn't break.

It’s all part of the UN, sweetie.

He was president of a major country, which under normal circumstances would not be contfoversial as a mark of respect for that country, but Iran is hated by USA and Israel so must be protested.
