Well, in my long history of being utterly shite at predicting the outcome of sporting events, that was one of the worst! I don't watch STV as it's for unwashed peasants living in Garthamlock, but I had heard about that. Fucking idiots. The idea that Scottish drunken arseholes are somehow better than other countries' drunken arseholes is not one I subscribe to. They always let us down … the fans and the team! |

It looks like everyone is wearing red in the stands, Swiss and Hungarians alike.
Hungary just halved their deficit. They need one more to salvage one point, with 22 minutes to go.

Total domination by teams I've seen so far. Commanding victories for hosts Germany, Switzerland and Spain among the highest FIFA ranked world nations. Italy gave themselves a hill to climb with a poor throw-in but were rarely troubled after that. I like that more countries get to participate, but it can lead to some poor games before the knockout stages.
