That sounds like our Charolais bulls fighting. Those bulls are big 2 ton babies when you bucket feed them, but when they start fighting with each other, no gate or fence is safe. I've seen one of those bulls tip over a Polaris Ranger. They are no joke when they get going. We mostly have Black Angus and Herefords around here, though there is one small dairy with those pretty Jersey cows. My poor vet, back in the day, had to drive around in a pickup truck with the hood dented in, where one of his crankier patients ended up. And a friend's brother, a large animal vet in Nebraska, had a bull's head come down on top of his - it was amazing he wasn't paralyzed. He retired early, sold his practice and moved back to Missouri. Being a large animal vet in Nebraska in winter really sucks. It's no wonder there is a major shortage of large animal vets. The job is low paying, dirty, and dangerous. Most vets prefer to live in the city and make big money working on cats and dogs. Preg checking 500 heifers? No thanks. Some kind of free vet school for those willing to work in rural areas and doctor large animals will soon be necessary. There are only 3 large animal vets in our tri-county area and 2 of them want to retire. Rural areas need some help whether they are willing to admit it or not. And most rural folk will never admit that they need government assistance. So it goes.

Don't defile Bob Ross like this 😐 No one "accidentally" sticks their dick in a horse. The sacred image of Bob's fro deserves better. I'd have set some strategically placed bear traps for him. Let's see him get on a step-stool after that. Seriously, what kind of sicko does one have to be to get arrested 4 times for molesting a horse? The fact that this weirdo perv is still out in the public and will probably strike again is a sad commentary on our current legal systems. Not even Texas will put this horsefucker away? Come on, y'all law and order Texans. WTF? That's why I said I'd set a bear trap. Obviously the law isn't helping keep those horses safe. Betcha he'd leave their horses alone after he got hobbled wandering around their barn. Prove it was set intentionally. Something tells me the law wouldn't fight that hard to make that case. "I'm sorry officer, we've had coyotes coming around, I thought we had all these traps put away." A good hobbling would learn him, the find out portion of his FA.

Taking him to the taxidermist might be going too far, though.

I knew my marine biology dreams weren't going to happen (I don't think I was smart enough anyway, for any of it TBH). I had just finished LPN school. I loved animals, but thought taking care of dogs and cats would be too taxing emotionally. I'd watch animal planet and I thought what the wilf life vets and large animal vets did was amazing. But alas, I did the practical thing and finished my nursing degree. No complaints though, I love my work and nursing has been good to me. But I'm good with animals, I'd have been a good vet.

I hear that. After my chemo, our dog developed lymphoma and the vet sent us to the university he had graduated from, so we could consider treatment for the dog. Apparently, I impressed the head of the vet school; he said that I should enroll. I told my vet that it was quite the compliment, but I knew I'd get arrested for slamming stupid pet owners up against the wall. Vets see so much, I don't know how they control themselves, sometimes. I have trouble with just what I see through doing rescue work. They never tell me who or where the dumpster was that the kittens were found in. They wouldn't have enough money to bail me out.

I don't know how they didn't go nuclear on the 'owners'. Well, there would have been witnesses...

My vet has a mixed practice, large and small, and he was run off his feet for years before he finally took on a partner, and eventually hired more vets. He actually made a small fortune at it, no doubt because of the small animal end of it. That man had 5 kids, and no one can figure out when he had the time to make that happen. He's retired, now, but still does consulting and stuff for the vet school. He is 78 and is still out doing stuff. He will probably outlive me!

Animals can't consent, so it was rape. The sick bastard should be shot. Absence of consent is not the reason why bestiality should be illegal. After all, we don't require the consent of animals before killing them to eat their flesh, or before castrating them for our convenience. The reason why bestiality is (and should of course remain) illegal is because it is disgusting and highly contrary to our values.
