I like Navarro to win it.
Kalinskya was up 3-1 in the first set on Rybakina, the favorite at this point, but hurt her shoulder, lost 7 straight games and had to retire.
Brad Gilbert was grilled for 1/2 hour on Gauff's loss, he may have well have been Biden's debate coach.
Fritz knocks out Zverev in 5 after losing the first 2.

As usual, Al varez said not one nice thing about his opponent post-match, but he grins a lot so the fans love him. I can’t watch him. Makes too much noise during rallies. They all do.

Quarterfinals:
Sinner Medvedev
Alcaraz Tommy Paul
Musetti Fritz
de Minaur Djokovic
==========
Ostapenko Krejcikova
Rybakina
Svitolina
Lulu Sun Vekic
Paolini Navarro
Lulu Sun had to go through qualifications to reach the main draw. I am rooting for her!
Ostapenko, Krejcikova and Rybakina have one Major under their belt each.

Earlier I said that I was rooting for Lulu Sun and she lost. Then NJtoTX expresses his support for Navarro and she promptly loses. I think we should refrain from picking favourites here!

Rybakina is winning it. Her serve is strong and her game has power.

I call it Wimbo.
The only reason to watch is for the adorable Emma Raducanu and her legs.

Paolini vs Krejcikova will be the women's final. Second major final in a row for the 28-year old Italian, who had never advanced past the second round of a Grand Slam tournament before this year. Her Czech opponent is seeded lower (31 vs 7) but already has a major title, the 2021 French Open.

Sounds like they had two good semis. The Peolini semi was the longest in Wmbldn history.
