No, I'm saying its an irrelevance. At what future point will it be acceptable to you for Republicans to visit? (obviously it doesn't matter to you when Dems do)

When I was young, back during the Civil Rights era, I just couldn't quite fathom why everyone was so afraid of someone with a different color of skin. My parents just couldn't, or wouldn't, explain this issue to me. 

As I got older and more out in the world, classmates brought me 'up to speed', but I still didn't understand the fear.

Eventually, I learned about our 'lizard' brains, and our basic built-in fear of 'others' - other people not of our tribe. But I had hoped that as humans evolved, and became more intelligent and more familiar with 'others', that we would move past that.

I have little hope of that now. And as the world becomes more crowded and resources dwindle, I see this tendency growing stronger. The fear of the 'other' isn't going away.

Interesting, when humans first started walking the Earth, the whole planet was a jungle. Yet somehow, as society developed, each group saw themselves as 'superior' to others. 

Now we wish we hadn't decimated so many jungles, given how vital the rainforests are to the survival of life on this planet. Maybe the folks living in the rainforests and on remote islands have the right idea. I certainly wish I could be a recluse living in a forest. The older I get, the more I withdraw from the chaos of 'civilization'. 

Sort of OT, I have been binge-watching episodes of Law & Order and cannot imagine myself living in New York City. In the earlier episodes, they constantly refer to the '8 million' other residents. I have no idea what the population is now.

That is correct. Though I wonder if life in a rainforest would have been a better, albeit shorter, life. We live longer, but are we happier? Sometimes quality is more important than quantity.

Given my experience with cancer as a relatively young person, medical intervention doubled my lifespan. But would I go through treatment again at my age? The treatment was harsh, and I don't think I would treat it again if it recurred, just to buy another few years, max, of a lesser quality of life. I watched my mother's quality of life dwindle over two decades until she died in a full-care facility at age 98. I have no wish to do the same.

The Klan angle doesn’t really work with Trump. Maybe try the Russia smear again.
