Queen should be above sex pistols. ELO is gay. Bee Gees are Australian. Where's the clash? Joy Division? Pink Floyd?

No they aren't. They are British. Not in my list, that's where. I would put The Jam higher than The Clash. Boring. I thought about them, some of it is excellent, but not above the ones I chose for my list.

Can't take a list with Queen and ELO in it seriously, over The Kinks? No Clash or Joy Division? No Cliff?

Pistols did one cracking album of high octane glam rock riffs with punk vocals and great riffs and hooks. The Clash also did that but had the ability to adapt and take it further due to widely different musical tastes among the members and for 18 months or so were the best band in the world. No list can not include them. Joy division were only boring if you were easily bored, were one of the leaders of the Post Punk genre and should be included. Cliff? why not? hits in every decades many many No.1's don't like him myself but he's given pleasure to many elderly women (or not). What about yer Quo as well?

No Stranglers? I'm surprised. Love em, would be in the next 8. Christ, I saw the Stanglers and was bored. Stodgy old pub rock dressed up to jump on the punk bandwagon by even then old geezers (JJB aside). And the Ray Manzarak steals were ten years out of date.
