I understand that after The Holocaust that there was much sympathy for an Ashkenazi homeland independent of "Christian" overlords.

And I've always said an Ashkenazi Jewish state should have been established on former German territory. The Rhineland-Palatinate could have been its center.

But to establish that state in Palestine on land which belonged to others and was only bound to create conflict? Foolish.

My point about Beverly Hills and West LA is at this point Jewish people live everywhere in the U.S. and Europe. They don't need a fortress in Israel anymore.
